Sridevi Raghavan,
Co-founder and CEO of Amelio Child Care Pvt. Ltd

Sridevi Raghavan is co-founder and CEO of Amelio Child Care Pvt. Ltd. Sridevi returned to India upon hergraduation with an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2008 to start Amelio along with her husband Raghavan.

Sridevi has a diverse work experience which enriched her exposure and thinking along businesses in India. Having started her career in advertising with Ogilvy and Mather steering brands such as Meera, Reynolds and Brooke Bond, Sridevi shifted trajectory, and worked in non-profits such as CRY and CARE in India before her MBA.

A trained Bharatanatyam dancer, Sridevi has performed in various cities in India and abroad. Sridevi also greatly enjoys travelling and reading.

Sridevi worked on the idea of creating daycares within Companies during her MBA at Harvard, and enrolled in the Business Plan Contest with her idea. Her idea greatly appealed to HBS Alumni who are Venture Capitalists, and with funding, she decided to return to India to start Amelio.

Today Amelio has 5 centres, 4 of which have been created in partnership with Companies. Amelio has created a well-planned and researched early education curriculum and has the honor of having India’s best minds in early education on their advisory board. Amelio has been recognized by NASSCOM as a futuristic and international daycare provider, and Amelio has presented their study on the daycare market in India during the NASSCOM Gender Inclusivity Summit in Bangalore in December 2009.


Swapna Jose Pradeep
Image Consultant

Swapna is the Founder and Director of Imágenan image consultancy firm.

Swapna started her career as an air hostess with the prestigious airline Air India, and has seven years of flying under her belt. The moment we utter the word “Air-hostess”, the image of a well-dressed and well-mannered lady comes to our mind. These traits inspired her to take up the profession of an image consultant, to enable her reflect her attributes, as she believes there exists a strong co-relation between her erstwhile and current profession.

Certified from the Image Consulting Business Institute and with an educational background in literature, she undertakes individual solutions, workshops, presentations and corporate trainings, to project an appropriate and powerful image. Her clientele includes educational and business institutions, companies and organisations, and prominent personalities from all walks of life.

One of the recent workshops conducted was for the Hindustan Engineering College. 

Also recently she was featured in the Deccan Chronicle, on the importance of image management.

Mrs. Radhika Santhanakrishnan
Founder – Penn Nalam

A professional for the last 35 years, Mrs.Radhika is a director in a private ltd company. In the year 2008-2009, she suffered from cancer and today she is a victorious survivor.

During her period of treatment, she was appalled at the lack of awareness about breast cancer about the common public. The prohibitive cost of breast cancer in India, where majority of the population does not have access to free health care of medical insurance, motivated her to make a difference. She realized that the psycho-social support required during the treatment and post-treatment period is sourly lacking in the Indian society.

In order to bring about this much needed social change, Mrs. Radhika set up the Penn Nalam Hospital with the vision of saving women’s lives from cancer on time. The Penn Nalam Hospital provides intellectual, practical, and moral support for cancer prevention and cure. The Penn Nalam team has reached out to hundreds of women with the focus on their misson to educate, care, screen, diagnose, treat, and counsel women and their families about positive health and cancer.
